The Camping and Education Foundation encourages alumni to participate in the life of Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe; whether that means coming up to camp during the preseason to help open, referring a camper, or serving on one the Working Councils.

There are two Working Councils which support both Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe. These volunteers help the camp directors in tackling important subjects such as, risk management, event planning, program evaluation, and enrollment referrals.
