Annual Giving is the Camping and Education Foundation’s yearly campaignthat sustains the operating budget, providing resources for immediate needs. Since tuition does not cover all Kooch-i-ching or Ogichi Daa Kwe’s expenses, unrestricted gifts make up this "gap." Make your gift today.

$5,000 $2,000 $500 $250 $125
Pays for the use of satellite phones on all of our canoeing, backpacking, and climbing trips during a summer at Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe, giving trip heads and staff instant communications should the need arise. Supports the average campership awarded at Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe. Your generosity assists approximately 50 young men and women each and every year as we strive to continue to offer campers and families tuition assistance. Provides all the food that a canoe trip will use during a week-long trip at Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe. A day’s menu might include a steaming bowl of oatmeal with hot chocolate for breakfast followed by a peanut butter and jelly pilot biscuit for lunch and heaping bowl of spaghetti for dinner and spice cake for dessert. Underwrites the cost of approximately one week of project supplies—par, concrete, lumber, shingles, and nails. At Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe, campers learn the value of community service by tackling hands-on projects. Campers learn how to build stairs, decks, docks, and cabins as they help maintain the facilities. Supports the essence of a three person canoe at Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe; the axe, the paddle and the life jacket.
